Hey! This is Prompto Argentum. Can I ask you a favor? Uh, not for me! It's for a cat. Well, I guess it's for me in that it's related to a prayer Lucina and I are answering, but it's not really about the prayer exactly...

A cat? Sure. Shoot. What do ya need?

We were feeding some strays down on the Near Shore, but one of the cats there is, um. She has... Okay, she's pregnant. Like, really pregnant. Gonna-pop-any-day-now pregnant. So we looked it up and apparently kitten food is good for cats carrying children since they need the nutrients, and I remembered you have some kittens, right? So can we have some of your food for her? We'll pay you back!

I make my own food for the cats, but I can spare some. It's a lot more nutritionally sound than the stuff you can buy in stores. [This guy loves his animals that much.] Need directions?

Yeah! I mean, yes. I mean, we have our own kitchen, so we should totally be able to pull it off.

[Lucina is a medieval princess. That leaves Prompto to make use of their temple's modern kitchen. This is going to end in disaster.]

Is it hard?

Not for me, but I've been cooking since I've been a kid... I think I'll just bring some over to your place. If you wanna learn how to make it, I'll send an ingredient list, but you ain't making it without me there. No offense, Prom, but you don't look like a cook.

Well....... not a "look" per say. More of a feeling. You don't feel like a cook to me. That better?

Mmmmmmh... Well, okay, that's fair. Lucina's not used to all the different appliances, and I'm not exactly great at cooking...

Eh, I can teach ya both some simple things. Like instant ramen and stuff. College kid cooking.

What, Cup Noodle? [He laughs.] Even I can handle Cup Noodle, dude! I'm bad, not hopeless!

Yes, but do you know there's tricks to it? And little things you can do to make it the perfect cup? It's more than just putting hot water in and waiting five minutes.

Or I can show you how to make ramen from scratch.

What, like, even making the noodles? Wouldn't that be pretty, uh... intense, for someone you don't trust to make cat food?

Nah, we won't make those. Too advanced for just ramen. But I can show you which are the best noodles to get for it, and how to make it as authentic as possible. If you want fresh veggies, that's not problem, but if you want the dried stuff, I know where to get that, too.

Uh, well, fresh is usually better, right? That's why it's more expensive?

[Prompto sounds thoughtful as he mulls this over. What if he could make something that'd really knock Lucina's socks off?]

I guess I could try to learn how to do this, if you really think it's that much better than instant...

Yeah, but it takes practice. I wasn't a wonder chef overnight! Been cooking since I was a wee little laddie. [No that totally wasn't an accent at the end of that sentence not at alllllll]

Homemade is always better than instant!

[That's why they both make something, and that way at least one dish is edible.]

Well, I can drop off the food with directions, but I gotta skedaddle right away. I haven't walked Argo yet today.

Argo is a Clydesdale. A horse. They need regular exercise.
